[HeartStrongList] First Week Complete

Hi Everyone,
We have just completed our first week of our outreach trip.  We held 5
HeartStrong Forums and have been busy doing all of our other work as well.

It's chilly here in Northern California but our friends who have come to
hear me speak have been warm and comforting.  Many times in this work,
it's easy to feel discouraged but we are easily encouraged by the
welcoming smiles, hugs and good wishes of our HeartStrong Friends who come
to our Forums.

We have a very busy second week ahead of us.  On Sunday I will be speaking
twice at the UU Fellowship of Humboldt County, CA.  On Monday, we have
been invited back to the Pleasanton CA chapter of PFLAG.  On Wednesday, I
will be visiting with our friends at the South Orange County chapter of
PFLAG.  On the 21st I will be heading a workshop at the UU Fellowship of
San Luis Obispo.

We are very excited to be able to do this work on this trip.  It's been a
very hard year for HeartStrong but we are persevering!

Again, thanks to PFLAG North Bay CA for the $3000.00 grant which enabled
us to begin this trip.  Also thanks to Howard and Mary Ellen Pattee, Landa
Ikeda and all of our HeartStrong Friends who are helping us raise the
remaining $3000.00 to cover the cost of this trip.
