Hi Everyone,

First things first, we want to say thank you to Bob Bouchard who recently
made a $3,000.00 donation to HeartStrong.  This donation completely wipes
out the $2,000.00 that was still looming over our heads from our Spring
outreach trip through the Southeast.  It also helps start our Fall
Outreach Trip.  Bob Bouchard is president of http://www.kinship.org . 
This organization has been vital in helping GLBT persons from Seventh Day
Adventist upbringings find a welcoming place of community and 'just as you
are' comfort.  Kinship as an organization has also been an affirming and
support to HeartStrong for many years.  Check out their website.

There have been several other folks who have made contributions recently. 
Much thanks to Frieda and Leonard Saraga, Leon Roberts & Howard and Mary
Ellen Pattee just to name a few.  Thank you so much to everyone who helps
us in our work!

Our 48 day Fall Outreach Trip will cost about $10,000.00.  Thanks to Bob
Bouchard and others we need to raise only $8,000.00 of that now.  The
Outreach Trip begins on August 11 and ends on September 18.  If you want

OK... great news... our Live Online Support feature is now available on
the HS website.  We are still working on getting volunteers to help with
that.  Watch our volunteer page if you are interested.

More great news... our incident report form is also live on our site as
well.  A great way for students to begin the healing process.

There are also two new items in our NEWS section that you might take note
of.  The articles are quite lengthy but contain important information. 
Please notice the lack of concern for GLBT students in both articles.
