Over the past few years, we have kept you up to date on the progress of
Carol Gload and her son's case against Jupiter Christian School.  You can
watch some of the Florida State Supreme Court proceedings in this case by

As we have said before, this is the first instance that we can find where
a student and/or their family has sued a religious school and actually
made it to a state supreme court.

This case is why HeartStrong humbly gave Carol Gload, the mom, the
HeartStrong Leave a Light Award in 2004 and also gave her son the Jordan
Carter Courage Award.  What is being done here is real history.  It takes
so much courage and personal fortitude to do what Carol and her son have
done.

watch) and view this footage.  It will show you even more clearly what it
is that students in these schools often find themselves up against.
