	We are overwhelmed by the support that HeartStrong has received in the
past month.  It has been a tremendous encouragement to us as we are
planning our next outreach/educational efforts.  Thank you so much!
	If you have not been to the HeartStrong website recently, please go
visit! (www.heartstrong.org) There is alot of new information and
exciting features.  Your first stop should be to sign up for our email
list, sign our guest book and update and verify your mailing address
information.  You can do all of that from the links on the front page.
	Our live support feature is now up and running.  We are still in the
process of recruiting volunteers to have it as many hours of the day as
possible.  Students are also able to file incident reports online for
themselves or for others.  It’s an important step toward healing for
many.
	If you are already on our email list you already know that thanks to Bob
Bouchard, Howard and Mary Ellen Pattee and others, that our debt from 
our last outreach trip has been paid off .  In addition to that, we have
received $2,000.00 toward the $10,000.00 cost of our Fall outreach trip
which begins August 13 in San Francisco.
	Again, thank you so much for the continued support.  It can be difficult
to plan upcoming work when the costs of past work is still looming over
our heads.  That burden has been lifted and we are working now on our
plans for the Fall as well as raising the funds for that trip.  Our goal
is to raise the remaining $8,000.00 for this trip before we hit the road
on August 11th.
	This upcoming outreach trip will be split into two parts.  The first
segment begins on August 13 in California.  California is the state with
the most religious educational institutions.  Ironically, San Francisco
County is the county with the largest number of schools.  It is no
coincidence that we begin our outreach trip there.
	We will continue our outreach work and hold educational forums in the Bay
area and then move on to northern Nevada and continue back to California.
 This trip will also include other portions of Nevada, all of Arizona,
and southern California.  This first segment will last 45 days.
	The second segment of our Fall outreach trip begins on October 11 in
Illinois.  That segment of our outreach work will take us through
Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Virginia, New
Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York
and Vermont.
	This is the 17th outreach trip since October 1996.  The time has flown by
so quickly and yet there is more to do today than when we started.  All
of the positive, lifesaving and educational work that has been
accomplished is only because of our faithful supporters.  You know who
you are and we are extremely grateful.  Our commitment remains to do
everything we can with what we’re given to fulfill our mission statement.

	We also still need volunteers!  All of our volunteer opportunities are
listed on our website.  Even if you have never stepped foot inside a
religious school, you can still help us help our students.
 	If you are able to help us with the $8,000.00 we need for this Fall’s
outreach trip, you may mail your donation or make your donation online

and goes a long way to helping us help others.
